Entry routes
- NNBTS (ratings) — SSCE/trades entry, trained at NNS Quorra, Lagos
- DSSC — graduate/professional officer track (doctors, engineers, chaplains, IT)
- Nigerian Defence Academy — full officer cadet route via NDA application (through JAMB + NDA portal)
Watch the Navy hub for each batch announcement — the portal opens for only a few weeks per batch.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Navy recruitment free?
Yes. The Nigerian Navy recruitment form is free — treat any payment request as fraud.
How often does the Navy recruit?
Roughly one to two NNBTS batches a year, plus separate DSSC windows. There is no fixed annual date — that's why tracking the hub matters.
