Foreign graduates
Studied abroad? You'll upload your degree for evaluation and attend physical verification at an NYSC state secretariat before mobilization.
We track each batch's registration window, mobilization list and camp dates on the NYSC hub.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is NYSC compulsory?
For graduates under 30 who want to work in Nigerian public service (and most private employers ask for the certificate too) — effectively yes.
What if I graduated after 30?
You don't serve — you receive an Exemption Certificate instead, which employers accept.
Can I choose my state of deployment?
Not officially — deployment is randomized, though the portal sometimes offers limited state selection during registration. Married women can request deployment to their spouse's state.
